La Foce wedding | Tuscany, Italy | Kylie & Scott

When Kylie emailed me about wanting to book me I screamed in my car and immediately called my florist friend, Rebecca, of Bird and Bumble. La Foce had been a dream venue of mine and Rebecca and I had created an editorial wedding shoot there in April of 2022. The goal was to showcase content in Italy, but the fact that I got a wedding at the actual venue we dreamed about was even better. To make things sweeter, they booked Rebecca for florals too. Full circle moment! Kylie and Scott had three beautiful days of wedding celebrations at La Foce, De Ricci winery, and in my favorite Tuscan town, Pienza. We had to fight a little rain and wind, but if it’s going to rain, you might as well be in Italy, right? I loved that the guest list was intimate, everything felt very cozy and personal. My favorite part was the genuine adoration on Kylie and Scott’s faces when they looked at each other. Sometimes as a wedding photographer, you just really get the sense that this is the real deal type of love with certain clients. I loved this wedding and the team that helped produce it. I’ve never been fed better as a vendor, oh Italy, I just adore you and your cuisine.

: When our vans pulled into Pienza, it was pouring. We couldn’t park close to the restaurant because George Clooney was in town filming a movie. We waited out the rain and walked to a wine bar to kill some time.
