I looked forward to this wedding for a long time, sometimes you just have a feeling when you’re really gonna love working with someone. I loved that Alyssa & Ian picked NYE, it’s fun and different. It felt funny driving to a wedding job on a Tuesday, but hey why not! Not only were Alyssa & Ian awesome, but their families were also so sweet. We started with getting ready at Scioto Reserve & did their first look (my fave) before we headed to German Village with the bridal party. I know it’s not for everyone but I think it’s so nice to get most of your photos done before the ceremony like at this wedding. Especially when you’re having a winter wedding with limited daylight. It was freezing but I don’t think I heard one complaint, the bridal party were all troopers. Then we moved onto ceremony, they got married woot woot! Then it was party time. Alyssa changed into the cutest sequin party dress, such a good idea if you really want to be able to boogie. When it was time to countdown to midnight, it felt like time slowed down, confetti flew, the bride & groom kissed as Frank Sinatra started playing. It was my favorite moment of the day.
