I was so honored to capture Louis and Elise’s special wedding day in November. Everything was very touch and go in Ohio with Covid at the time and these two handled it with a lot of grace and responsibility. I was really appreciative of the fact that they cut down their guest list to family and that guests got tested before the big day. As hard as I’m sure these changes were to make, their day was still full of love and happiness. We started the morning at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Cleveland where both bride and groom got ready. We captured their first look on the glamourous grand staircase in the lobby of the hotel. After some portraits alone in the hotel we took more photos around the Public Library, one of my favorite buildings in Cleveland. The couple were wed in a traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony. Afterwards, some close friends who couldn’t attend the whole day surprised them from a distance outside with signs and other friends connected on zoom. Then it was back to the Renaissance for the party. The reception was complete with champagne, cake, heartfelt toasts and some fabulous Greek dancing.
